When you wait 39 years for a kitchen renovation and sunroom addition, you want everything to be perfect. I am happy to say it is, thanks to Orazio Guevara and his architectural and building skills. We had our first meeting in my sadly authentic '70's kitchen. Orazio was sketching and measuring as we shared our ideas and vision for the sunroom, which was more important to me than a super fancy kitchen.

I liked that he directed many of the questions to me and not just my husband. That has not always been the case with many of the contractors I have met. Orazio had many ideas and suggestions that were thoughtful and practical. My favorite was bumping out the kitchen 14 inches on one side. It doesn't sound like much, but it allowed the 2 steps down to the sunroom to be recessed as opposed to jutting out into the room as we had planned.

These are the kinds of things that were problematic for us, but were simple adjustments for Orazio.  I was very, very impressed with his knowledge, attention to detail, ability to listen and patience. We chose Just Build It to construct our sunroom addition and renovate the kitchen and we are very glad we did. Orazio and his crew were very respectful of our property and our schedule.

They suspended work for 2 weeks when relatives were visiting making sure the site was closed up, clean and safe. I have heard that kitchen renovations are always the most difficult, but Orazio did everything in his power to make it more bearable. My husband is a municipal Building Commissioner and was very impressed with the quality of his work.  Throughout the project, Orazio always answered my texts and calls in a very timely manner. When I step into my sunroom now, it is a very serene and calm space, airy and full of light. Orazio truly captured my vision of what I wanted my sunroom to be. When I stand at the kitchen sink and look out into our new space and to the view beyond, I am very grateful and happy that we chose Just Build It for this project.
